Yearly there are all kind of activities in Loosdrecht.
At the end of April and at the beginning of May the Loosdrechtse party and memorial week will be organised.
In this week there are all kind of variety actvities on the agenda for all kind of people from diffrent ages.
For example;
In July there is a cosy sailing event with a nice ambiance in the village itself. Especcaily in the restaurants and bars.
One of the best known events is the festive Loosdrechtse Gondelvaart. Traditionally, the Gondola ride is organized every year in the third week of August, to close the summer season. Everything that can sail is on this evening on the Loosdrecht lakes. This evening is a true spectacle of decorated boats that all want to win the prize for the best decorated vessel. The jury assesses the ships for originality and also the topicality of the theme in which the ship is decorated. The gondola ride is also linked to a fun fair and attractive evening market, which is held on the Oud Loosdrechtsedijk. The evening ends with a spectacular firework display.
